Not Me Monday!!

It's that time again...Not Me Monday!! MckMama has created a place where we can come clean about those things that happen that I would MUCH rather forget about...

This week, I did NOT choose to be on the computer over doing laundry, thus allowing the mountain of clothes in the basement to multiply.

I did NOT completely shut little man down with a "that's enough!" when he was only asking what I was making for lunch (and I thought he was arguing with me.) Sorry little man! =(

I did NOT fret over yesterday's post about my perspective shift because I'm worried people will think I'm a "Jesus freak."

...and, lastly, I did NOT make it ALL the way out to my car at Target with a gallon of milk that I didn't pay for (but didn't realize because it was UNDER the cart) and decide to deal with it "later." Getting four kids out of the store, through the parking lot, and in the van by myself is exhausting, so the thought of going ALL THE WAY back in was too much. As my sister-in-law Leanne says, I was "too weak to freak."

I did NONE of those things...NOT me!

    Oh! I'll play!

I did NOT yell at my 11 month old b/c he was clinging to my leg and pulled my pants right down!

I did NOT try to stuff my 4 1/2 year-old's foot into a 12-24 mos. size sock this morning b/c I just wanted her to get dressed already!

  4. HA HA HA! I have been guilty more than once of trying to fit a fat little foot in a shoe or sock too small...my daughter walked around in a shoe that was 2 sizes too small for a month before I realized! =)

  11. I'm a SAHM to 3 boys (5, 3 and 6 months) and can totally understand dealing with the milk issue later. My husband works out of town and is only home every other weekend so I pretty much lost my mind a while ago! I'll play along... I didn't get my son dressed and out the door for school this morning before I realized that he had no shoes on. No, not me.

  18. I got all the way to the car with beer down there once! I felt guilty enough to go back in, but I didn't have kids with me and I likely would have "dealt with it later" if I had, especially for a gallon of milk!
